Elon Musk Is Suing Openai And Sam Altman Again

Elon Musk Revives Lawsuit Against OpenAI and Two Founders

Musk alleges that the ChatGPT maker used his intellectual property without permission

Elon Musk has revived his complaint against OpenAI after dropping a previous lawsuit again alleging that the ChatGPT maker and two of its founders used his intellectual property without permission.

Musk first took legal action against OpenAI in March before dropping it in June. He filed a new lawsuit Monday against OpenAI and two of its founders, Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, two months later.

In his complaint, Musk alleges that OpenAI used his intellectual property to develop ChatGPT, a chatbot that has gained popularity in recent months. Musk claims that he provided OpenAI with access to his research and data, which the company then used to develop ChatGPT without his permission.

OpenAI has not yet commented on the lawsuit.
