2024 WNBA Draft: Indiana Fever Selects Caitlin Clark First Overall
Caitlin Clark's Journey to the WNBA
Caitlin Clark, a two-time Naismith College Player of the Year, is now officially a WNBA player after being selected by the Indiana Fever with the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.
Clark, a 6-foot-1 guard from Iowa, has been one of the most dominant players in college basketball in recent years. As a sophomore in 2022-23, she averaged 27.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game while leading the Hawkeyes to a Sweet 16 appearance.
