Tee Higgins, the Cincinnati Bengals' leading receiver in their run to Super Bowl LVI, has signed a four-year contract extension worth $8,686,785, including a $3,877,664 signing bonus and $5,882,518 guaranteed. Higgins, who was a second-round pick by the Bengals in the 2020 NFL Draft, had a breakout season in 2021, catching 74 passes for 1,091 yards and six touchdowns. He had four receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns in the Bengals' 26-19 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI.
Higgins' new contract makes him one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL. He is scheduled to make $2.18 million in 2022, $1.9 million in 2023, $2.0 million in 2024, and $2.6 million in 2025.
