Edmonton Oilers defeat Colorado Avalanche in Game 4
Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals takes place on Wednesday
The Edmonton Oilers have advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals after defeating the Colorado Avalanche in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday night. The Oilers won the game 5-3, taking the series 4-0.
Connor McDavid led the way for the Oilers with two goals and an assist. Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard each added a goal and an assist, and Zach Hyman also scored a goal.
Darcy Kuemper started in goal for the Oilers and made 34 saves. Jack Campbell started in goal for the Avalanche and made 29 saves.
The Oilers will now face the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Finals. The first game of the series is scheduled for Wednesday night in Edmonton.
