Updated: No New Victims Found, Investigation Continues

On Thursday, a beachfront restaurant in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, partially collapsed, tragically killing four people and injuring 16 others. The incident occurred at the Medusa Beach Club, a two-story establishment located in one of the city's busiest areas.

According to witnesses, the restaurant's rooftop terrace appeared to suddenly collapse on Thursday evening. Part of the structure gave way, causing a section of the building to fall.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene and immediately began search and rescue operations. However, no new victims have been found since Friday morning. The investigation into the cause of the collapse is ongoing.

The Medusa Beach Club had reportedly been promoting a new rooftop terrace just one day before the accident.

The tragedy has shocked the community in Mallorca, a popular tourist destination known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife.
